Dr. sc. techn. Andreas Sennheiser

Andreas Sennheiser was born in Zurich in 1974. He studied Management and Production at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zurich, with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Logistics. In 2004, four years after his graduation, he completed his doctorate on “Performance Indicators and Benchmarking in Supply Chain Management”, also at ETHZ.

Dr. Sennheiser then worked for Hilti AG in Liechtenstein in the field of Corporate Logistics and Controlling. Remaining at Hilti AG, he moved to Thüringen in Austria in 2007, where he worked as technical manager of the resident production facility.

Since March 2010, Andreas Sennheiser has been responsible for Lean Management and Strategic Supply Chain Design at audio specialist Sennheiser, where he instilled a focus on value-adding processes with a direct customer benefit. He has been a member of the Executive Management Board since January 2011. In his role as President, he was responsible for the operational supply chain divisions, which include Sennheiser’s production plants, logistics, and operational purchasing.

On 1 July 2013, Andreas Sennheiser and his brother Daniel Sennheiser were appointed CEOs, assuming overall responsibility of the company. Together they drive the strategy of creating innovative audio products and remarkable sound experiences for the end user. Their vision to actively participate in creating the future of audio is based on the 70-year history of Sennheiser, a distinct culture of innovation and a mutual passion for excellence.
