Firmware update 3.0 with new mode for enhanced spectrum efficiency.
Digital 6000 has been expanded to include an important feature: the new Link Density mode doubles the number of possible channels. So even in a very difficult, congested frequency spectrum, additional frequencies options become available for any size of production. The new mode functions with all components of the series. The LD mode will be available via firmware update.
Simple, Easy, Efficient
It needs to work. No matter the application - under a costume, in situations of extreme movement, where there is sweat, whether in the studio or on the stage – we developed the LD mode to excel in extreme scenarios. Our technology proves itself, not just under laboratory conditions, but in productions on the world’s stages.
Under the hood
For the Link Density mode we have optimized the data rate using the newly developed Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC). The equidistant channel spacing has been reduced to a minimum of 200 kHz, now 5 channels become possible in 1 MHz bandwidth. This new balance between demand and performance generates new possibilities to meet the needs of even more application scenarios.
Efficiency meets brilliance: the new flexibility
The new D6000 Link Density mode allows you the best of both worlds – you can now have full control among range, channel count and data rate as needed by your application. You have full flexibility even in the most challenging environments.
